Nino Berticelli
While enjoying a career in collegiate athletics, Nino bought his first home in Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida in 2003. A year later, he found his first investment opportunity in the house right next door. By 2006, with the real estate market nearing a historic crash, he owned 3 properties in
South Florida. While athletics was his profession, real estate emerged as his passion. After
successfully navigating a profitable exit amidst one of the toughest real estate landscapes in
history, he came away invigorated, rather than deterred. From that day on, it was merely a
matter of time before passion and profession merged. In 2015, Nino acquired his Indiana real
estate license. Over the past decade, he has successfully launched businesses as a Realtor, a Property Manager, and a General Contractor.

Who Are We?
Growing up in South Bend, one can imagine our weekends often revolved around Notre Dame. In the fall, the Stadium and Joyce lots, with their endless tailgate parties, were our stomping grounds. Year round, whether it was Irish soccer, football, basketball or hockey games, summer sports camps, or even our high school proms and graduation, the campus of the University of Notre Dame was "home."
Going on to become a student-athlete and graduate of Notre Dame was a dream come true. And being part of both the university and local communities was an especially unique experience. As I moved around the country for my career and life went on, like many other Indiana natives and Notre Dame alumni, I still found myself making the journey home to South Bend multiple times a year.
In 2012, we bought a little bungalow just south of campus. It was intended to be our quaint escape from the hustle and bustle of life in Chicago; a place to enjoy Irish football weekends like we always had; a way to keep us forever connected to home. However, we soon realized that this place, combined with our family's love and pride for sharing the Notre Dame experience, had created its own energy. From the very first football season, we had friends and classmates calling to rent the house for game weekends. We had more requests and more friends wanting to stay with us than we could accommodate. Suddenly, our hometown hideaway had turned into a time share and a business was born!
Since then, we've partnered with another fellow Domer and South Bend native, and put our heart and soul into to duplicating the homegrown, perfected formula we enjoy when coming home to Notre Dame. We now offer 11 (and growing) fully furnished houses to choose from, for rent any day of the year. Location and quality are the priority - the 'Golden neighborhood' is always walking distance to campus. Our hospitality services offer you the foresight and connections that only a local can provide, with the loyalty and accountability you expect from the Notre Dame family. From a weekend visit to a few months stay, we welcome your families and groups. We're proud to set South Bend's GOLDEN standard in hospitality!

Let us count the ways! If you've ever visited South Bend for a Notre Dame football weekend before, you know what a brutal experience finding a hotel room can be. It's common for visitors to drive as far as Elkhart, Plymouth, Valparaiso, and even Chicago for a place to stay. If you are lucky enough to find a room in South Bend, the rates can be astounding. For those traveling in groups, needing multiple rooms makes the search tougher, and costs quickly run into the thousands. With only a couple of hotels in walking distance to campus, navigating parking and game day traffic is an additional weekend hassle. And finding a good place for the group to comfortably gather all weekend is a constant effort.
At GOLDEN, "doing it like a local" means none of those problems exist! Created by South Bend natives and Notre Dame alums, we take great pride in the local reputation for remarkable hospitality. Our 3,4,5, and 6 bedroom homes are the perfect way for families and large groups to maximize value in their accommodations, and the quality of their time together. For bigger families or groups, many of our properties are within 2 blocks of each other - some even right next door to each other. Pair them together to make room for everyone!
Most importantly, we've gone the extra mile, so you don't have to - literally! This means ALL of our properties are WALKABLE (within a mile) to Notre Dame Stadium and many of the popular spots surrounding campus. Forget parking passes and wrestling with game day traffic, imagine walking home after the game! Park your car in the driveway on Friday and put the keys away for the weekend. Walk or quick uber to all ND athletic facilities, The Linebacker, Eddy Commons, everything!
Instead of just a room with two beds, enjoy having all the amenities of home - a full kitchen, living rooms, a back yard and furnished patios for cooking out, and the opportunity for your group to comfortably gather and focus on having fun!
We strive to provide the highest standards in location and quality of our properties, combined with the extra conveniences and comforts of home. Things like wifi and HD cable TV, laundry, silverware & kitchen appliances, and bedding are standard in all of our properties. You'll always check into a house with beds made, clean linens, and towels provided. For events, we will orchestrate outdoor tents, tables & chairs, catering, and many other services.
Finally, from the moment they book, our guests are connected with our Director of Hospitality for personal assistance with anything they may need - from details about the house, to experienced recommendations on places to go. Consistency and accountability is what sets us apart from any other rental service. Our quality control standards are guaranteed on every property we offer, and our same hospitality staff is your host on every reservation we book.
